On April 8, commencing at 5:00 p.m. for 20 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a telephone talk with H.E. Mr. Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The two ministers exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East. They welcomed today's announcement of a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran as a positive development, and shared the view on the importance of reaching a final agreement at an early stage through dialogue.
