Lesotho, Oct. 28 -- The Minister of Trade, Industry and Business Development, Hon. Motlatsi Maqelepo, has highlighted the need for skills that match industry requirements to drive economic growth, following a setback at Zeri Leather, which lost a lifetime tender due to a shortage of skilled labor.

This was revealed during a ministerial factory tour led by Hon. Maqelepo on October 21. The tour aimed at identifying challenges facing industries and exploring possible solutions visited two local factories, Zeri Leather and BEESDAM, as well as an international factory, Edient.
