Lesotho, Sept. 30 -- For more than a decade, 'Manteboheleng Mabetha has occupied a prominent space in Lesotho's civil society, using advocacy, community mobilization and democratic governance programmes to challenge barriers that continue to affect women and other marginalized groups.

Before becoming widely known for her work in gender justice, human rights and civic education, Mabetha built an important foundation through her experience as a teacher and counsellor.
