Lesotho, March 25 -- The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) and the Ministry of Sports have teamed up to motivate the Senior National Team, Likuena, ahead of their upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Preliminary Round matches against Seychelles.
LeFA President Mr. Lijane Nthunya announced a total incentive of M300,000 for the team. The government, through the Ministry of Sports, is contributing M150,000 for qualifying to the next round, while LeFA will add another M150,000 from its own funds.
The two-leg fixture will take place at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on March 26 and 29. Nthunya said the funding effort was done in collaboration with LSRC President Baba Malephane to ensure the players are motivated for these important games....
