Lesotho, Oct. 28 -- The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) returns to Lesotho from October 28 to November 18, bringing three weeks of free film screenings, cultural exchange and opportunities for emerging Basotho filmmakers.

The fifth edition of the festival in Lesotho, and the third held jointly with Eswatini, will showcase European and African films exploring identity, freedom of expression, social justice, women's empowerment, family relationships and environmental challenges.

Organised by the European Union Delegation to Lesotho and Alliance Francaise de Maseru, the festival is funded by the European Union, with contributions from Austria, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Italy and Poland.
