Lesotho, March 18 -- Many young people rely on energy drinks to stay awake while studying, but these quick fixes often come with health risks such as anxiety, crashes and dependency. Seeing this problem first-hand, one National University of Lesotho student decided to offer a healthier alternative while creating a business opportunity for herself.

Fourth-year law student Ikaneng Mapuru has turned her interest in healthy living into a small but growing venture called Nala Matcha Bar, believed to be one of the first dedicated matcha bars in Lesotho.

Mapuru said the idea was born from her own struggle as a busy student trying to keep up with academic pressure.
