Lesotho, Sept. 21 -- For many artists, creating art is more than producing something beautiful. It is a way of expressing experiences, telling stories and building a livelihood.

This was the spirit behind Cards and Art, a movement founded by artist Ntlhane Pakiso, which hosted an art fair at TRC Hall on Saturday afternoon, creating a platform for Basotho artists to showcase their work and encouraging the public to understand and appreciate the value of art.

The fair was held in a relaxed, round-table setting, with good music creating a warm atmosphere as artists and art enthusiasts interacted, viewed artworks and shared experiences around the creative industry.
