Lesotho, April 16 -- To reshape Lesotho's economic future, the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) has launched its Letsema Strategy 2026-2031, a blueprint aimed at tackling unemployment, accelerating industrialisation, and positioning the country for sustained growth.
At the heart of the plan is a bold and widely debated target: the creation of 50,000 new jobs by March 2031. Alongside this, LNDC is aiming for 7 percent economic growth, the rise of 100 Basotho industrialists, and the development of five new industrial sectors.
