Lesotho, July 28 -- The sound of pounding hooves, cheering crowds and the excitement of the race track filled the air last Saturday as Basotho horse riders proudly carried the Lesotho flag at the prestigious Dundee July Horse Racing and Lifestyle Event in Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The annual event, which recently celebrated its 21st anniversary at the Endumeni Horse Racing Track, is one of the biggest traditional horse racing and lifestyle gatherings in the region. It brings together skilled riders, beautifully trained horses, fashion, entertainment and a celebration of African culture.
