India, Aug. 12 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Central Government has approved Vibrant Villages Programme-I (VVP-I) as Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 15th February, 2023 for comprehensive development of select villages in 46 blocks abutting northern border in the States/UT of Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh (UT), Sikkim and Uttarakhand.
Central Government has approved Vibrant Villages Programme-II (VVP-II) as Central Sector Scheme on 02nd April, 2025 with a total outlay of Rs.6839 crores till the Financial Year 2028-29 for the comprehensive development of 1954 select villages located in 334 blocks abutting the International Land Borders (ILBs) other than the northern border already covered under VVP-I in the St...
