Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the two-day National Chintan Shivir of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana ( PMGSY) organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Monday , called upon the officials and engineers not to let this Chintan Shivir remain a mere formal "ritual", but to find concrete and innovative solutions to the practical difficulties faced on the ground. He clarified that the next phase of PMGSY should not be only about general construction, but about 'quality connectivity'.
