India, Oct. 10 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat, will organise the BRICS Traditional and Indigenous Sports Demonstration Games 2026 at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad, on 12 October 2026, under India's BRICS Chairship.
Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon'ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, will inaugurate the event. The inauguration will be graced by the presence of Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Gujarat, Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, and Dr. Jayram Gamit, Hon'ble Minister of State for Sports, Gujarat.
