Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will launch the country's first cooperation-based taxi service "Bharat Taxi" in Gujarat on 27 June, 2026, from Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. Bharat Taxi was soft-launched in Gujarat in December 2025. This initiative is an important step towards extending Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' to the transport and mobility sector.
