India, Sept. 29 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Acting on specific information received by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Special Cell of Delhi Police, in coordination with central agencies, apprehended two government officials in New Delhi on 28 September 2026. The two officials, one working as a Senior Accountant and the other as an Accountant, had allegedly approached an association and sought illegal gratification in return for facilitating its pending FCRA registration.
One of the officials is presently posted in the Foreigners Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, while the other, presently posted in a Pay & Accounts Office, had earlier served in the Foreigners Division. Preliminary questioning indicates that...
