TDB-DST supports M/s Sonic Biochem Extractions Pvt. Ltd., Indore, for Commercialization of Indigenous Functional and Textured Soya Protein Concentrates

India, July 30 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

Reinforcing India's commitment to self-reliance in value-added food processing and plant-based nutrition, the Technology Development Board (TDB), under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, has extended financial assistance to M/s Sonic Biochem Extractions Pvt. Ltd., Indore (Madhya Pradesh) for the project titled "Development & Commercialization of Functional and Textured Soya Protein Concentrate(s)." The project aims to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for the commercial production of Functional Soya Protein Concentrate (FSPC) and Textured Soya Protein Concentrate (TSPC) using indigenous technology developed by the company.
