The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 follows a demand-driven approach to skill development by aligning training programmes with the requirements of industry and emerging sectors. A key focus of the scheme is skilling in new-age and future-oriented technologies. Under PMKVY 4.0, over 600 courses have been introduced in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Drone Technology, 5G, Solar Energy, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Semiconductors, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
