The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying has been implementing the flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) with a total outlay of Rs. 20,750 crore from 2020-21 to 2026-27 (September, 2026) for the sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture in all the States and Union Territories including Chhattisgarh.
