PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SONU KUMAR DAS V/S STATE OF BIHAR

PATNA, India, June 1 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on April 30:

1. Heard Mr.Sharda Nand Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and Mr.Ajay Kumar No. 2, learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail, who is in custody since 22.03.2025 in connection with Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 87 of 2025, F.I.R. dated 14.3.2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 109,103(1),61 and 3(5) of BNS.

3.Allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith other co-accused persons assaulted the informant's son by various weapons due to which he sustained injuries.
