PATNA, India, March 8 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on Feb. 5:
1. The interlocutory applications have been filed for substitution of heirs/legal representatives of appellant, Uma Shankar Chopra and expunging the name of the appellant, namely, Uma Shankar Chopra who died on 27.12.2013, leaving behind his heirs/legal representatives stated in the interlocutory applications.
2. Hence, I.A. No. 06 of 2023 and I.A No. 01 of 2014 are allowed.
3. Let the name of heirs/ legal representative of the ppellant, Uma Shankar Chopra stated in interlocutory applications be substituted in their place by expunging his name in the cause-title of the memo of appeal and also delay in filing the substitution petition is also hereby condoned...
