The National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC), a Section 8 company under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, is mandated to undertake initiatives for the socio-economic empowerment of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) across the country. The Corporation primarily facilitates concessional lending through channel partners such as State Channelising Agencies (SCAs), banks, and NBFCs.

During FY 2025-26, NBCFDC achieved its highest-ever disbursement of Rs.613.75 crore, benefiting 61,621 beneficiaries, marking an increase of approximately 16% over FY 2024-25. The ...
