The Monthly Accounts of the Union Government of India upto the month of August, 2026 has been consolidated and reports published. The highlights are given below: -
The Government of India has received Rs.13,67,709 crore (37.5% of corresponding BE 2026-27 of Total Receipts) upto August, 2026 comprising Rs.8,37,921 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs.4,54,549 crore of Non-Tax Revenue and Rs.75,239 crore of Non-Debt Capital Receipts. Rs.5,90,391 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India during this period which is Rs.60,243 crore lower than the previous year.
