India, Aug. 12 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Ministry of Heavy Industries under the Scheme for Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector has undertaken below mentioned initiatives for skill development:-
1. Setting up of four Smart Advanced Manufacturing and Rapid Transformation Hub (SAMARTH) Centres to promote Industry 4.0.
2. Setting up of Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC) at Welding Research Institute (WRI), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Trichy for skilling in advanced welding technologies.
3. Development of 23 Qualification Packages by ASDC
4. Development of 23 Qualification Packages by CGSSC
