SHILLONG, India, March 25 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 23:
Pursuant to the order dated 5th February, 2026, issuing notice to the newly added respondent No. 2, the respondent No. 2 is present in person. He requests that an Advocate from the Legal Services Authority be appointed to espouse his cause. Accordingly, Ms K. Gurung, Legal-Aid Counsel, who is on the panel of High Court Legal Services Authority, is appointed on behalf of the respondent No. 2 to espouse his cause.
Stand over to 12th March, 2026.
