MEGHALAYA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON A. CHIK CONTRACTORS UNION OF DISTRICT WEST GARO HILLS TURA AND ORS. V/S THE STATE OF MEGHALAYA AND ORS.

SHILLONG, India, March 23 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment on Feb. 20:

1. Mr. P.T. Sangma, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the works which have been impugned herein has since been completed, and that the matter has been rendered infructuous.

2. Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Mr. E.R. Chyne, learned GA for the respondents also concurs to the submission.

3. Accordingly, the matter stands closed on being infructuous.
