Meeting of Hindi Advisory Committee of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting held

India, July 30 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

On July 27 , 2026 , the Hindi Salahkar Samiti of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , chaired by Dr. L. Murugan , Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting , met at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre , New Delhi . The purpose of the meeting was to review and further promote the progressive use of Hindi in the Ministry and its affiliated media units .

In accordance with the Government 's Official Language Policy , special emphasis was placed on the widespread use of Hindi in official correspondence , administration , digital communications , publications , and public relations activities .
