MANIPUR HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDERS ON POTSANGBAM NGANBI DEVI & 2 ORS. V/S STATE OF MANIPUR & 3 ORS.

IMPHAL, India, May 18 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on April 16:

[1] This matter is listed for referral to the Special Mediation Drive- 'Mediation for the Nation' as directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

[2] Ms. Y. Jinita, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that this matter is not fit for referring to mediation.

[3] Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned G.A. for the State respondent and Mr. S. Jasobanta, learned counsel for the Principal Accountant General, also shares the same view.

[4] In the circumstances, list this case before Court on 03.06.2026.
