JABALPUR, India, March 28 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 24:
1. Petitioners seek a direction to the respondent - Land Acquisition Authority to disburse the compensation as determined by the Land Acquisition Authority alongwith statutory interest from the date of possession.
2. Since there is no challenge by the petitioners to the quantum determined by the competent authority, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondents to disburse the compensation as determined by the respondents to the petitioners alongwith the statutory interest for delayed payment, if any.
3. Let the needful be done within a period of two months from today.
4. Petition stands disposed of.
