Overall LFPR for persons aged 15 years and above reported as 55.9% in January, 2026 compared to 56.1% in December, 2025.
Female LFPR in the age group 15 years and above was 35.1% in January, 2026; same as recorded in November, 2025.
After a gradual rise since June, 2025 till December, 2025, the overall WPR for persons of age 15 years and above recorded a marginal decline to 53.1% in January, 2026.
For persons aged 15 years and above, urban workforce participation for male and female remained broadly unchanged in January, 2026 at 70.5% and 23.0%, respectively, compared to December, 2025.
