Data on lending and deposit rates (https://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/content/docs/MLDRSCB31082026ENG.xlsx) of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) (excluding regional rural banks and small finance banks) received during August 2026 are set out in Tables 1 to 9.

The weighted average lending rate (WALR) on outstanding rupee loans of SCBs stood at 8.97 per cent in July 2026 (8.96 per cent in June 2026).
