The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deoghar (Cyber) P.S. Case No.168 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Section 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 317(2) & 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 66B, 66C, 66D & 84C of the Information Technology Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was involved in commission of cybercrime by posing himself as an officer of Phone-Pe Customer Service and was looting the gullible persons by offering them lottery and loan.
