Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Process For The Preparation Of Elexacaftor' Filed by Viatris; and Mylan Laboratories Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441068700 A) filed by Viatris; and Mylan Laboratories Ltd., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, on Sept. 11, 2024, for 'process for the preparation of elexacaftor.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sureshbabu Jayachandra; Dr. Vipin Kumar Kaushik; Rajendar Reddy Mulamalla; Dr. Sridhar Tailor; Jayasankar Srinivas Yalla; and Suresh Allada.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
