The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) today reviewed the progress of nine committees constituted to address key action points emerging from the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries, held in December 2025. The review meeting was chaired by Dr. M. L. Jat, Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General, ICAR.
The committees are working on 28 action points aimed at strengthening human capital for Viksit Bharat, with a focus on higher education, skills, innovation and capacity building.
