Legal structure:
The Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act") and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 ("IT Rules"), together, have established a framework to promote digital well-being, user safeguards and responsible digital participation.
Obligations of intermediaries:
