India, March 11 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

States and Union Territories (UTs) are primarily responsible for the prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of crimes, including cyber-crimes, through their Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). The Central Government supports these efforts by issuing advisories and providing financial assistance under various schemes to enhance capacity building.

To strengthen a comprehensive and coordinated response mechanism to deal with cyber crimes, the Central Government has implemented measures such as raising public awareness, issuing alerts and advisories, training LEAs personnel, prosecutors, and judicial officers, and upgrading cyber forensic facilities.
