GUWAHATI, India, March 24 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Feb. 20:
1. Heard Ms S Medhi, learned counsel, who appears for the applicant as the Legal Aid Counsel. Also heard Mr B Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.
2. Ms M K Brown is appointed as Amicus Curiae in the matter to assist the Court.
3. Office Note show that notices have been served upon the informant.
4. The learned Legal Aid Counsel shall ensure service of copies of the Interlocutory Application and the Criminal Appeal to the learned Amicus Curiae.
5. List this matter again on 6 th of March, 2026.
