GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON ABDUL KUDDUS V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM AND 3 ORS

GUWAHATI, India, May 6 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on April 2:

1. Heard Mr. S. Hoque, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. Gogoi, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 1, 2 & 3.

2. By instituting the present writ petition, the petitioner has sought to invoke the extraordinary and discretionary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking the following reliefs :-
