FIRST TRAINING SQUADRON DEPARTS SEYCHELLES, REINFORCING MARITIME COOPERATION

India, Oct. 17 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

Ships of the Indian Navy's First Training Squadron (1TS) - INS Tir, INS Sujata, and Indian Coast Guard Ship Sarathi - departed Port Victoria, Seychelles, on 15 Oct 2026, on completion of their port call, which commenced on 12 Oct 2026, during the ongoing training deployment. The engagement reinforced the longstanding India-Seychelles partnership through professional training, capacity building, and interactions with the country's leadership and maritime community.
