DIRECTIONS UNDER SECTION 35A READ WITH SECTION 56 OF THE BANKING REGULATION ACT, 1949 - THE VALSAD MAHILA NAGRIK SAHAKARI BANK LTD., VALSAD GUJARAT - EXTENSION OF PERIOD

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 17 -- Reserve Bank of India issued the following press release:

The Reserve Bank of India issued Directions under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to The Valsad Mahila Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd., Valsad Gujarat vide Directive No. AMD.DOS.SSM.No.S831/11-03-153/2025-2026 dated December 17, 2025, for a period of six months up to close of business on June 18, 2026 which was last extended vide Directive No. DOR.MON/D-17/12-21-153/2026-27 dated June 11, 2026. The Reserve Bank of India is satisfied that in the public interest, it is necessary to further extend the period of operation of the Directive beyond close of business on September 18, 2026.
