DFS Organises Workshop to Strengthen Implementation of Reservation Policy Across Public Financial Institutions

The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, is convening a workshop on 20-21 August 2026 at the Union Bank of India Staff College, Bengaluru, on the implementation of the Government of India's Reservation Policy in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), Public Sector Insurance Companies (PSICs), Sectoral Regulators and Public Financial Institutions (PFIs). The workshop on Day 2 will address the issue of enhancing accessibility of financial services for Divyangjans.
