(a): The Department of Fisheries (DoF), Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAH&D), Government of India, is implementing Integrated Aquaparks under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) with the objective of developing them as hubs for multiple fisheries activities across the fisheries and aquaculture value chain, providing end-to-end solutions tailored to local needs on specific themes. Under PMMSY, the DoF has approved the establishment of twelve Integrated Aquaparks at a total cost of Rs.713.80 crore.
