As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, organized an expert lecture on 'Preventive Vigilance and the Role of Vigilance Administration in Combating Corruption in Government' , at the Ministry's Headquarters in National Capital, here today.

The lecture was delivered by Director, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Smt Tamanna Sinha, who highlighted the importance of preventive vigilance in promoting transparency, accountability and integrity in government functioning.
