India, July 28 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
In the country including the State of Tamil Nadu, a total of 1,31,589 km road length (18,814 roads and 5,110 bridges) was completed at an expenditure of Rs. 1,07,942 crore (including State Share), during the last five years, under various verticals of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The year wise details are given below:-
