The second day of the 18th Meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property (IP) Offices of BRICS countries was held in New Delhi today, September 2, 2026. The three-day meeting, hosted by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (O/o CGPDTM), DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is being held from September 1 to 3, 2026. Around 35 delegates participated in the meeting through virtual and physical formats. Delegates from Russia, Iran and Ethiopia joined online, while the remaining Member Offices participated physically.
