'Raksha Shakti' is among the seven streams of power outlined by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in his 2026 Independence Day address to the nation, as key to building a Viksit Bharat by 2047. From the ramparts of the Red Fort in Delhi on August 15, 2026, the Prime Minister emphasised the need for Aatmanirbharta in defence and called for India to emerge as a global supplier of next-generation defence technologies.
