India, Oct. 8 -- Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Education and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Pralhad Joshi, inaugurated the 8th edition of 'Windergy India 2026' in Chennai on October 8, 2026. This event marks the commencement of the premier global wind energy conference, being held from October 7-9, 2026. Thiru C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar, Minister for Energy Resources and Law, Government of Tamil Nadu, graced the inaugural ceremony. Senior officials from the Government of India and several State Governments, representatives of wind energy associations, and industry leaders were also present.
