India, Oct. 27 -- The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, organised 1,861 Dak Chaupals across the country on 23rd October 2026 as part of Special Campaign 6, strengthening citizen engagement and bringing postal and government services closer to the people. This dedicated one-day programme also witnessed cleanliness activities at approximately 55,952 sites nationwide and the resolution of 9,007 public grievances.
Undertaken in response to the initiative of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the programme focused on citizen outreach, grievance redressal, cleanliness, environmental sustainability and improvement of postal infrastructure.
