ALIGARH, Oct. 10 -- ALIGARH, October 9: Prof. Mohd. Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Chairperson, Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been appointed Proctor of the University for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, with immediate effect.
Prof. Ansari has over 30 years of teaching and research experience. He joined the Department of Political Science, AMU, as a Lecturer in 1994 and became Professor in 2009. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Phil. in Political Science, all from AMU. His areas of specialisation include Public Administration and Indian Government.
