India, July 31 -- In a step towards enhancing commuter convenience and improving toilet facilities along the National Highway network, NHAI has launched a nationwide initiative for the development of world-class public toilet facilities at the toll plazas. The initiative envisages to enhance sanitation blocks at the toll plaza through an Innovative Performance Based Contracts framework, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, functionality and long-term maintenance.
