India, April 4 -- Monash University has announced a range of immediate support measures for staff and students impacted by ongoing international instability.
In a key move for staff, the University is bringing forward the scheduled 3.5 per cent pay increase for eligible academic and professional staff covered by the 2024 Enterprise Agreement from June to April, providing wage increases eight weeks earlier than scheduled.
Consistent with the terms of this agreement and previous practice, the increase will not be paid to executive or senior staff on performance-based contracts.
