ALIGARH, July 26 -- ALIGARH:The Department of TB and Chest Diseases, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University, organised a plantation drive under the nationwide campaign Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, encouraging participants to dedicate trees to their mothers as a symbol of love, gratitude, and commitment to environmental conservation.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Mohammad Khalid, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Mohd. Shameem, Chairman of the department, who planted saplings in the names of their respective mothers, setting an inspiring example of environmental responsibility and filial respect.
